Very quiet on here lately.I went for a decent ride on Otto last Sunday with a few friends. We went to a bike store/cafe in Sudbury (UK) called TTT Motorcycle Village.Lots of used motorcycles available (but no GTRs), riding gear, accessories, and a decent cafe that does a good All Day English breakfast.Otto behaved admirably considering he is now only 200 miles away from his double-rollover.He has 200k miles on the frame/odometer and 25k miles since rebuild of Sanji's 150k mile engine (so engine at approx. 175k miles). When he hits that 200k miles I will be swapping the instrument cluster over for a new-old-stock one that I scored a few years ago for 60UKP.He will go from 0 miles to 0 miles Vivian is shortly going in to a local motorcycle mechanincs for a full top-end service prior to our August trip to Austria.
Only one left. Ready for any Givi MonoKEY trunk.
I have no doubt that the BMW bikes being a premium bike will have a premium price to maintain However I am confident I can do about 90% of the service myself. I have put about 1000 mile on mine so far and It is an amazing bike no disrespect to the connie because its a great bike but...... IMO not even in the same ballpark the k 1600 is superior
Just what the title says they are grey in excellent condition. Make me an offer. Thanks
Thanks Didn't want to miss anything. I seem to have bad luck lately with ordering stuff.
That is the correct part numbers.
Anyone got a BW carbon tip slip on exhaust they'd like to sell/get rid of? looking at either 300m or 400m. Thank you!
I would get the tune first. That will give you more noticeable performance and drivability gains as opposed to the slip on or full exhaust. I have Shoodaben’s mountain runner and love it. Much smoother throttle on response and “seat of the pants” performance. After I had the ECU flashed, I swapped out the potato launcher for a Two Brothers Racing Black Series slip on. Much lighter than OEM and much louder. So loud, in fact, I added on of their silencers to tame the noise a bit. It just depends on what your goals are. If you want to max everything out, you can go a full system with a racing flash, but that gets spendy. For me, I was happy with the overall performance with the slip on and flash. The 2bros is 18” long, and sounded sweet, but I ride with a group of Beemers for long trips. The drone was driving me nuts on long days, so I mellowed out the noise level. If you love loud, I know 2bros has a short “racing” slip on that probably screams. Basically, what Max said, but Max always brings more intelligence with receipts!
