Interesting stuff. Watched the movie "The Martian" again last month. Was wondering about wind enough to blow him a couple hundred yards and almost tip over the rocket but only .7% the pressure of earth's atmosphere. What would the wind speed have to be to blow a man away with only about 1/100 the density of earth's atmosphere?Yeah, the atmospheric density issue was something Andy Weir said he couldn't write a scientific workaround for that part, so he chose to ignore it. LOL. Gotta love his honesty.
Did you ever wonder what's going on with the weather on Mars?
...
Well, no. But it got me to thinking about flying a plane on Mars, so I'll give you that
I'd need "pre-heat" as my engine does NOT like -130f temps.
Rick
Who cares what the weather is there....nobody lives there!
That Marvin is a good actor. Movie would have been even better with him instead of Matt Damon.
Who cares what the weather is there....nobody lives there!
That's why I haven't seen him in anything lately? He's too busy for Hollywood foolishness.
No, no, no, no. Marvin is from Mars. He already lives there. He's working with Rick on a landing strip for his airplane.
Thanks for your input. Typical.
Pot, meet kettle.
Why the hate?
Sigh....guys, you know what I'm going to say don't you?
I know, I know ... Your going to say "Guys, take it back to the arena or I'll have to take my giant sword and chop your heads off".
Right?
Therefore you like me more than him...but more than Her?
