Perhaps I'm gonna change the exhaust...
« on: July 07, 2012, 04:15:58 PM »
...with this one:

LeoVince SBK Titanium.

They also do the same in Carbon, but I heard that it is more fragile even if a litlle lighter.

Is anybody  using this product and are the advantages on paper (weight, sound, power) really there?

Thank you!
Ugo

Yup......several of us have lost the bazooka, and the Leo is a great choice.

Carbon's only more fragile if you fall down on it.

I have the carbon fiber and love it.  The term "more fragile" is a bit subjective...maybe if you hit with a baseball bat or drop the bike directly on it.  It may not dent like metal, but I would hardly consider it fragile.  In fact, I've never concerned myself with the thought of it.  I'd say buy whichever one you like the best and don't worry about it.

Leo carbon is nice, beautiful, and quiet with the baffle in. Slightly noisier with it out, but no big deal.

Love mine.  Plus the can itself is still metal.  There's just a carbon sleeve around it.

Looks like you plan to change the muffler, not the "exhaust"...

Love my Leo Vince. Have run it both with and without the baffle. I prefer to leave it in.

Attached pic taken when I first got the slip-on, but before adding the Corbin, Garmin, TechSpec etc. I've got another pic somewhere with the bazooka laying beside the bike with the Leo Vince installed. Dang, that bazooka is huge!

Ah.  Well, still not replacing "the exhaust" (exhaust header, pipes, and muffler), but that does explain why the picture provided did seem to be a little more than just the muffler.  Why does it say "'07/'10')?  Was there a 2007 Concours 14 in Europe that never came to the USA??

According to Valerio, he has a MY2007 model.
Not sure if he bought a MY08 model at the end of 2007 though...

Probably.  I don't think there is any such thing as a 2007 Concours-14/GTR-1400.  VIN to the rescue...

I don't know about other countries, but there was no 2007 C14 sold here.  The 2008 started selling here early summer in 2007.  I bought my 08 early August 07.
