Blatant disregard for the 4th.
But some areas do have laws against using cameras while driving.

Officer had big ego combined with "little man" syndrome.

yeah, I've seen them.  But this is not the way to fight it.  Ive had my bike impounded for something that never happened and got it returned with a big gouge down the side and a flat tire.  I hope justice,  in the kids favor,  gets served.

If we give up on the constitution we have nothing left to fight for.

The Cal. Highway Patrol has been conducting operations with a very special emphasis on sportbikes in the San Diego area for some time now. Partly warranted but as always goes way over the top on many occasions (I got a ticket for wearing 2 earplugs on Christmas day)! Truth!

They do let deaf people drive don't they?  I've never understood being ticketed for wearing ear plugs.  Now if you were blind and driving, I could 'see' that.

Some drivers might not be blind when they drive but they sure can't see a damn thing.

Did they pull you over for something else? I thought earplugs and/or speakers earphoned in each ear was a secondary offense in most states. In other works, they need to have you pulled over for something else first.
