Hello From new(er) member
« on: June 06, 2012, 03:42:25 PM »
Just wanted to stop by and finally say “Hi”.  I have been lurking on the forum for a couple of months now soaking up the knowledge and helpful suggestions.

I purchased a Black C-14 in March, and with the help from all of you guys, I have made it more comfortable by adding Murph’s risers, and a Sargent seat.

I moved to Highlands Ranch CO, (just south of Denver) in January, came up from Dallas.  I am coming from a Victory Cross Roads and a Suzuki GSX650F.  I sold both of them before moving and decided to combine the touring features with the sport bike fun in one bike.

Looking forward to many rides in the mountains!

Have a great Summer of riding, and everyone else, please be safe.

Welcome to the nut house!

VAJim will be along shortly and move this to the C-14 section, depriving people that frequent the C-10 sections because they own one (like the admin  ::) ) from saying 'hey'. :)  ;)

I'm just up the road a spell, a few miles S of Estes Park. Click my profile for a map, and other details. I'm usually up for a day ride. But go easy, Sam is grossly underpowered. And she doesn't have KiPass either ;)

Shouldnt you frequent that "Other" forum? ;)  Ya really should consider an upgrade, I would consider a black bike to help with the move up, call it breaking in the rider, KIPASS will take care of the rest ;D

Hammer welcome to the nuthouse!!  Good thing ya got the slow black one, it'll help the transistion period from that Victory ;D  After a few thousand consider trading up for an '08 Silverdammit, vastly quicker, and a proven performer 8)  And Rick?  He lives in a rustic log cabin, he thought about upgrading to dial up 'net, but the Pony Express has proven more reliable, almost as reliable as Sam, but failed him big time one time, which resulted in the great crash of 2011.  That ZG guy?  He's a proven squid, even rides his ebony beut in sandals, so, unless ya like spending your kids inheritance I'd ignore him :o  And then we have the Chief Clown, AKA Stevewfl, he earned the title the hard way, once he learns which end of the lens to look through he may work out ???
So, if ya can learn to live with this families obvious flaws, stay and enjoy the show :)
