A few weeks ago I finally decided to do something about the less than stellar performance of the OEM tall Kawa windshield (stock on 2010+) of my 2012 C14; I went ahead and ordered an AeroFlow tall windshield.
Got it, installed it, tried it. Works; quiets the air around the rider with true airflow above helmet while still being below eye level.
But it also made me realized that I'm more of a wind in my face kind of guy; so on started the hunt for a 2008-2009 OEM short windshield and guess what, found one from a guy only two hours away from my home!
After riding to pick it up, I actually installed it for my return trip and there it was just like an epiphany, I had met my match. Yes the short OEM (stock on 2008-2009 C14) windshield lets more wind onto the rider but it does it in a civilized way with a lot more usable range from the electric adjustable mechanism (I'm 6'1" with 32" inseam) w/o buffeting.
So I now have an AeroFlow for sale in the Marketplace section.
Goes to show you that solutions can sometime be counterintuitive
