Hello from England
« on: April 07, 2012, 02:55:11 AM »
Just thought I would say hello here before I start asking questions  ;)

I recently bought a 2012 1400GTR, in fact I have not even had the 600 mile service completed yet.

I always liked the bike from when they first came out, but waited a few years for all the initial problems to appear and be addressed.
I have a Green GT model with the extra  top case, inner bags blah blah fitted by the dealer, and am now looking forward to the summer over here in the UK, and getting through the tunnel to Europe.
I am also on the COG forum for those who visit there.

Hey doebag congrats on that new scoot. I'm jealous. Not only do you have the new C-14 you get to ride it in Europe. I'm sure the 14 riders are going to provide you with plenty of ideas for upgrades. Ride safe.

Funny, I'm looking forward to the summer so I can take the ferry to Dover and get to the isles. I'm planning a 6000 km tour for the 9th of May, going through the south of England and Wales, then the whole Ireland, and finally Scotland. 2 weeks, just the bike and me... Ohhhh, I can't wait.

Education is important. Riding my bike is importanter.
