I just bought an FJR and don't have room for it and the concours. The Concours has served me well since 2001, it currently has 173,948 miles.
I bought it when it was a year old with 10,000 miles on it and my original plan was to run it till it died, but it won't stop.
Dropped once to the left on a soft WV shoulder, the tip over bars worked as advertised, no fairing cracks.
Some minor scratches from the tipover bar mounts during fairing removals and a long gouge on the right side belly pan from a run in with a harbor freight lift, touched up with the wrong color paint.
Otherwise it looks pretty good and runs great.
I set it up for my size 14 feet by lowering the shifter as much as possible and bending the brake pedal and grinding away some of the fairing for toe clearance.
It has:
22.5" vented cee bailey windshield, comes with stock shield and cut down shield
Ventura headlight shield
fender extender
Kawaski voyager remote headlight adjuster
SS braided front brake lines
storz handlebar adapter with ape hangers about 9" rise
audiovox cruise control
tipover bars
Russell day long solo seat (260 lbs, 6'1" 31" inseam), comes with stock seat
Murph's knee savers
markland passenger floorboards
stebel nautilus horn
cheapo fog lights
manual petcock
yuasa m/f battery new in dec. 2010
led voltage lights
grip heaters
kawasaki luggage rack and backrest with 3" taller backrest, comes with stock backrest plate
relocated helmet locks
Progressive 420 rear shock, rebuilt in dec. 2010 at 149,000 miles
K&N air filter
tank bra
Kawasaki manual
aux fuse box behind battery
pilot gt tires, maybe 4000 miles left
I have changed or done:
airbox, split at the lower leading edge seam
intake cam, guess why
water pump and hoses
front and rear brake discs
hardwired altenator
a lot of oil changes, valve adjustments, tire changes, a few fork seals.
also comes with:
all parts to put footpegs and handlebars back to stock and a box of assorted o rings and seals.
parts I've collected over the years, some used and some new:
brake lever, rear brake pedal and master cylinder and pads, clutch master cylinder, j box, altenator chain tensioner, drive shaft, russell ss braided upper clutch and brake lines stock size.
I hope to sell this here to someone who is familar with and will appreciate the bike, I'd rather not go to ebay or, God forbid, craigslist.
I can email additional pictures if you're really interested.
regards,
Bill
