Clear Tank Plastic Question
« on: May 20, 2011, 12:00:26 PM »
I have a 2009 Connie, and I've already put the full complement of Tech Spec stuff on.  However, I use a small tank bag that is slightly marring the paint on the area just aft of the fuel fill port.  Would like to apply some of the clear stuff I've seen on other bikes that:

1. I can cut to fit the "smaller" exposed area, and
2. Would not interfere with the magnets on the tank bag.

Thanks

For a quick and cheap fix, how about clear adhesive backed shelf liner material?

If you're asking if if would work? I don't see why it wouldn't. I had that stuff on my bike before I went with the Tech Spec pads. I ended up cutting up the two larger pieces and used em on the tops of my bags.
