WTB C14 - any year
« on: January 02, 2012, 01:09:02 PM »
UPDATED 01/06: Any year Concours 14

Putting feelers out for a 2010 or newer C14.  If you've been thinking about selling yours or know someone who kicked the idea around...give me a shout. I watch the usual places...CA craiglist, cycle trader & ebay...but maybe you've seen an ad local to you that I haven't seen.

Seeking a low miles bike with ABS. Manufacturer warranty will still need to be in effect for a minimum of 1 month. If out-of-state from California...minimum 7500 miles or close enough to put that amount in for a fly & ride.

I haven't posted since the COG/ZG-GTR forum issue and had to re-register. My member name is the same. I've owned a couple '05 ZZR1200s and an extremely well-farkled '08 C14. I decided to take a short break from riding and sold the '08 back in 2010. So with the New Year, I'm now looking to get back in the saddle.

Just to be clear...I'm not seeking an '08 or '09 models...unless the price is to good to refuse and the miles are low. I'm looking for a seller that may be sitting on the fence and wants a no-hassle deal. I've got cash in hand but it's not burning a hole in my pocket. And riding season is still a couple months away here in NorCal. I know the C14 and the prices extremely well. Since I do all my own work...I may even have interest in a salvage title.

Please fire me an email or PM. Appreciate you looking and many thanks in advance.

Happy New Year !!!

Sat on a 2012 ZX14 yesterday.

I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to do it... :-\

Afterwards....I was thinking some more...yea....watch out....

anyhow...I was thinking my '08 non-ABS was...oops...is a fine bike. I put 20k on her in a little over a year and had no issues at all except dragging my drive shaft out at the track. I was looking at the 2010 for the upgrades...and now I'm thinking...if the price is really to good to refuse...I just might look closer at the '08 & '09 models.

So if your on the fence and have a low miles bike...PM or email me  8)

I've found many bikes for sale but only rcvd one reply here on "fanatics" and that bike is 1500 miles away.

Anyone else ?

Thanks in advance.

PS: today I took a test ride on a modded '05 ZX12r.  Me thinks I might be needing two bikes. {chuckle}
