Little Help finding Exhaust popping tube plug location
« on: February 10, 2012, 11:28:13 AM »
My exhaust is popping and I know there is a tube to plug on the right side of the bike to help stop this. I can't find the link someone once put up on where it is. Any help would be great!

I used a vacuum plug.  No popping on decel.  I have used marbles and Sharpie lids on previous bikes and those all worked well too.

I probably would have left it unplugged if the Auto Tune would work without it in there.  I liked the burbling pop on each downshift.
Keeping the economy going, one tank of fuel and two tires at a time.

I used a rubber plug from the hardware store. They had a big drawer full. I think I used a "00" size.
