Bungy Buddies or ???
« on: May 05, 2012, 11:42:20 AM »
I'm getting ready for a little weekend trip down to Deals Gap soon so I tried tying up my bag on the passenger seat like I've done on my Futura but I can't find any place to use my spinder-net to hold it down?  Has anyone installed Bungy Buddies on their panniers or used something else to tie-down something on the passenger seat?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.  I guess I could use the tea-pot sized back rack but I like keeping items closer to me and away from road flying debris as well as using the bad as a back-rest on long trips.

I have a truck rack bag from my Gold Wing that will work on the rear seat, Strap it down with a bungee cord to the grab rails.

I had bungee-buddies on my BMW. They were good, just haven't needed any on the C14......yet.

I used the cheap walmart camping tie downs crisscrossed across a waterproof bag (stuffed with tent, sleeping bag, and pillow).  Went around the arms.  Worked great as a backrest.  If you set your wet towel on top of your bag it dries nicely too.

I just attach my cargo net to the front 2 anchor points for the saddle bags (1 on each side) and attach the back 2 to the rack. IF I need to use the middle 2 I attach them to the grab rails.
