Vance & Hines CSOne Black - Where are people purchasing these?
« on: December 04, 2011, 07:29:44 AM »
All, I am very interested in picking up a V&H CSOne in Black for my 2010 ABS.  Where are people getting the best pricing on the Internet?

I have one and honestly there are better choices in regard to quality out there.  My end caps have pitted and no amount of polishing cleans them up.  Looks good when new and sounds good but over the long haul this isn't the best.

That's the exhaust that I thought that I wanted, but at the time found they were backordered by everyone. I ended up with a Leo Vince carbon and I'm very glad the V&H wasn't available. The LV is great and includes the dB insert. That's extra with the V&H, making the price difference less. The LV is more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion.

Anyway, to answer your question, www.pipecity.com seemed to have the lowest prices on all the pipes back when I was looking. Several of my friends have purchased more than one exhaust from them and are always their first recommended source.

On my purchase, they had excellent customer service and the best price. I haven't checked elsewhere, but they have it in black for $450 today, $400 polished.

With, or without the bags on?

Somewhere I have a pic of it with the stock pipe laying on the ground next to it. OMG!

Try these. Had trouble giving you the best pic because it was too large and I couldn't figure out how to make it smaller.

Yup, they don't suit English weather  :) The ends are just bare aluminium with no laqueur, need polishing every time  :(

Black is normally $50 more than the stainless. Seems like a pretty good price though. Assuming they have it in stock. That's what I ran up against when I was looking to buy a black one. Lots of people advertised a good price, but nobody had any in stock.

Pipe City has that same one for $399.

I bought mine from Motorcycle Superstore.  Got the black/stainless model.  And yeah, after 4000 miles, the end is not as shiny as new but it's not that bad and doesn't really bother me.

JackD, I purchased mine from Motorcycle Superstore as well in black.  I should have it on Friday, 12/30.  Did yours come with a black heat shield for under the right footpeg?  The picture on V&H site shows one.  Let me know.  Thanks.
