Is anyone useing the Big Ears ear plug product....plugs into your amp, gps, radar detector.....reduces road noise and lets you hear what you need to hear with a long wire plug in...
Anything good bad or indifferent about this product...

I paid 350.00 for mine 4 years ago...one transducer failed in one ear...they want 133.00 to fix it for me...of course it is out of one year warranty.....

Is there a better product?

Anyone have this same unit and had any problems with it?

I use Sennheiser MM200 in ear bluetooth headphones all the time. I haven't tried anything that sounds this good. I don't believe they sell them anymore, but can be found online. I paid around $140 for mine.

I have a set of $180 earspeakers/hearing protection from dbPlugz. I'm happy with them.

his brother Mark runs Fit-ear , these are what i have  http://www.fit-ear.com/products-page/motorcycle-stereo-plugs/m-2xb-dual-with-extra-bass/  not quite that price paid since he is at all the cycle shows with a discount. mine are two seasons old, been very happy with them. i did have a cable go bad, repaired under warranty.
in the winter or colder months when i need a baklava under my helmet i use the http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6i.aspx  er6i since the others hurt with the added pressure of another layer under my helmet.

mine sound great, good bass, tough call on a repair though. my thought would be, is the other one close to failing also ?? make sense ?? do you know its that and not just the wiring ?? i was able to wiggle mine and it would come in and out.

Why, you warm it in the glove box first.
