I have tried the z8's but they were not model specific. This is my tire of choice. First let me tell you that mileage is not the most important factor for me when choosing a tire. I never get the kind of longevity that some on here talk about. (4500 on pr2's) For me grip and feel are the most important thing and these are great. They are the most confidence inspiring tires I've tried yet. When leaned over they are very nuetral and will hold your line. Do not stand up on braking. Very sticky. Read what thier website has to say about the z8 constuction. It works.

We've seen this before and discussed it on the old forum, I think or in another board.  This is not new to us.  I don't think we've had any members report problems with the PR3s like the link described (If so, please chime in).  I've been running them without issues in 90F plus weather at high speeds.  I will buy them again.  If the link was describing a C14 running them I would be more concerned...as is, not so much.

PR3s----105 degrees out and well over 100 mph. These tires felt perfect and I gave them a good look at 3 times during my 130 mile ride home.

My bags haven't fallen off. My driveshaft hasn't blown up. Kipass has not failed. I did however have my front brake rotors replaced and the final drive seal replaced. Wait. Now I'm starting to worry.
