Rear wheel spring preload
« on: October 26, 2011, 05:51:49 AM »
While attempting to adjust the rear wheel spring preload the adjustment knob became very tight.  The original adjustment seemed to be in mid travel, so I’m confident it is not full open or closed.  Has anyone experienced this and any suggestions how to deal with it?

There's been a couple of threads on this subject. I know that I posted on one several months ago. Got mine "fixed" under warranty and haven't had any trouble since. Took the dealer about 10 minutes.

Yep, it took me all of 5 minutes to take it off and use a bit of WD40 and it freed right up.  Works like a champ now.

During my recent survey of warranty claims, this issue came up a couple of times too.  I guess it's not all that uncommon..
