Receipts for farkles (insurance claim)
« on: October 19, 2011, 12:38:08 PM »
Just wondering if anyone could help me with some reciepts for farkles.  I have most of the proof on my ebay for that stuff but these three things, I bought used from forum members.  If you have a receipt for any of these farkles listed I would appreciate it if you could email me a copy so I can have something to substantiate everything I had on my bike.

Sargent seat
Techmount
Murphs risers

Thanks for any help

No rostra (maybe on the next one).

Lather, I lowsided this past weekend and my bike is most definitely totaled due to a hole in the engine block and oil pan on the right side.

:(

But some of those types of things can be removed and moved to another bike... why would they fall under a "total" claim if they might be undamaged and not stolen?  Just wondering...

The bike is over three hours south of me and unless I want to make a trip I will try to let the insurance pay me for everything.  If the offer is low or they don't want to pay out even though I have $5,000 in coverage for accessories I will go ahead and make the trip.  That is my last resort though since I don't have a fun bike to ride anymore.

I think that I still have the receipt for my PCV from fuelmoto, but the search will continue for my Ohlins/Penske suspension receipts.   ;D

  • It's only really cold if you fall down in it.
    • C-14 farkles you almost cannot ride without.

Really glad to hear that Jeremy. Thanks for posting that info.- I know you mentioned wanting to wait a bit before posting about what happened so it is great to hear you both are OK.

We all know about the risk of riding motorcycles and we all acknowledge it but it is still a surprise when it happens to someone we know.
