Ride Home tonight
« on: October 05, 2011, 10:55:46 PM »
Rode home from work tonight, it was 36F balmy degrees.

Love my new Scorpion XDR Commander and Firstgear HT Overpants, I'm living the dream!

Now I just have to find that thingy that goes under my chin for my helmet....

(Note: thicker socks)

You know those strechy head band thingies that are used to keep your ears warm? I use one of them and just pull it down around my neck. Keeps it warm and works great.

Us S. Texas folks don't consider 36F as balmy, that is damn near freezing.  I think it was in the 90's here today!

In fact your very close because 32F is FREEZING! lol

Tonight it's going to be 40F (i'm on my way home in a few minutes actually) and tomorrow and Sunday it's going to be 80-82F during the daytime. Sunday I'm headed down to Hampton Beach for a ride. I haven't been to the ocean in a while and I miss it. I love the smell of salt water!

I'm not sure eating those would help keep your neck warm but it's worth a try!
