JR Martinez and Karina Smirnoff in Dancing with the Stars 2011 Rumba

It's a clip from Dancing With The Stars. I don't watch that show but this soldier was disfigured by and IED and he's an inspiration. Listen to what he has to say, listen to the words of the song they're dancing to, and watch the dance. Very moving.

I saw one of his practice routines and not only is he an inspiration he is a comic; I don't recall how the subject or scene was set but he went into a gig about looking for his ear as though he has lost a contact on the floor and was feverishly looking for it... It made me burst out in one of those fits of laughter that has a tear of reality to it.

Saw that with my wife. She loves that show. Her tears started before his dance. Powerful stuff. You gotta give the guy credit. Wow.

The show kinda grows on you because, it's the only show I can watch that has lots of scantily clad, really hot women, who are intentionally shaking it for all they're worth and I watch with HER approval! Don't knock it 'til you try it.
