Anybody here have info about Oxtar boots?

I am looking at getting my wife an actual pair of riding boots and have found a pair of Oxtar Sunray boots that have been sitting in a box for 3 years.  Are these worth getting?  I found a couple reviews online and a small writeup by Roadrunner magazine.  Just wondering if anyone here has bought these and has a real world review after lots of use.

I have had a pair of Oxtar boots for about 5 years now.  I don't know the exact model anymore, but I do know I love them.  I rarely wear them as walking boots because I don't want to wear them out, but when I do they are comfortable.  They perform quite well on the bike also with a padded shin guard, opening and closing on the inside, waterproof, leather toe guards for the shifter and a reflector for the rear.

Again, I don't know if they are the same model, but I do think Oxtar makes a quality product.

All I know about Oxtar is that they are now TCX. I hear good things about TCX and their boots.

I have been wearing Oxtar's, now TCX, for many years now.  I wear the Matrix's.  I give them 2 thumbs up for quality and durability.  My current pair have lasted 3 years... finally busted a zipper pull a month ago, replaced with a key ring... still going strong. 

I ride/wear to work... walk all day in them... ride home in them.  They are comfy enough for me.  I wear them on all my rides, wear them when walking around/hiking around... they do get their work out.
