Boy, this got ugly.
While I've never cared for the looks of the cruiser bikes, I can appreciate what they are... a potential to escape daily life and get away for awhile, no different from how I see my bikes. Yes, some are gawdy and ostentatious, bust so are a lot of sport bikes. As for classifying riders based upon what they ride... well, I can find a cruiser rider and a sportbike rider BOTH riding like A-Holes, and THAT pisses me off, because it is part of why people (who don't ride) have sometimes poor opinions of motorcyclists. What you ride doesn't define you, but HOW you ride sure does.
Back to topic (sort of)... It does boggle my mind when I see a bike for sale that has averaged less than thousands of miles per year. This guy would seem to be one of those... have it to have it, instead of having it to ride.
Meanwhile, I'll go ride.
