Gotta love it
« on: August 25, 2011, 08:21:01 PM »
I haven't had much/any time to really ride. But I have to say I do enjoy the Connie. I've done Steve's carb work, knee savers, and bar risers. The shield is off for now, probably gonna get clipped, with a taller shield in the future.
But what a great bike. It drones along as long as you want it too, but bring it to the upper range and it's clear what it's bloodline is.
IMO this is what motorcycling is what it's all about. Thanks Kawi, and thanks to those enthusiast who not only share the passion, but in our particular bike of choice and have put themselves out there to help others.
Took a short ride today and I'm not regretting my Connie purchase a bit. What a blast to ride a real motorcycle again. Thanks to those who have helped me along.
