taillight problem

is there a known issue with the taillight intermittently going off and coming on? my riding buddy says mine was off lastnight on the way home from peoria. this has just started happening. I wiggle the wires back there and it's okay. a flick of the key switch and it will come back on. if anyone has any input on this, I'd appreciate it. thx

You have some dirty/bad contacts in the electrical section if the ign sw, most likely. You have to remove the sw to get at them, spraying "stuff" down the key hole will have no effect on the wiring and contacts.
