Just to clarify, this will also fit 2008-up models correct? The only difference being the cutout on the bottom ... the bolt pattern is still the same I'm assuming?

Yes, the bolt pattern is the same, but you need to add the other pieces from the 2015 and up windshields. Or, I guess you can just leave it as is with the opening!

Gotcha - ya I am currently running a CalSci X-large X-wide windscreen, they build the cutout into their screens, and it has a piece of weather stripping material to help with the wind buffeting traveling up the front of the windscreen. I suppose it's the same setup as the screen you have if you don't install the adjustable vent that came on them from the factory .... although the adjustment would be kind of cool to have, not sure how well it actually works - but I assume it does to some degree.

The adjustable vent is amazing! It got rid of 99% of the buffeting for me (I used to have a 2011 C-14). Unfortunately, if you don't have a 2015 and up C-14, you would have to buy the parts for the vent, and that can get expensive.
