Who the hell did I insult?

Nobody and thats why I'm a bit peeved that my post was the quoted one immediately before that thread was locked.

I simply made a humorous aside to alternative news and may have mentioned a well loved and respected American politician.

There were no insults from me towards anyone on this forum.

And who would that be? I didn't know that we had any left.   :stirpot:

Just as well this is a completely different subject then :D

(Oh and (semi) seriously, I can understand being miffed about personal attacks/digs at other members but to to quote a humourous post (complete with suitable smiley) and (apparently) cite that as the primary reason for locking is a little OTT, that said I do realise that humour and spelling doesn't always translate ;) )

I'm am very happy to see this, not for the wording (what was that all about again? {nevermind}) but rather for the use of parens, I always seem to need to use a lot of those  in my posts and it's nice to see when another here likes 'em too. Mike, please switch to braces and brackets when nesting parens as it makes it much easier for us with OCD to make sure there aren't any unmatched "dangling" parens.
Regards from a fellow paren hugger.  :-*

problem is  I also enjoy a  good old

"=if(iserror(vlookup(a2,sheet2!A:D,1,false)),"N",vlookup(a2,sheet2!A:D,1,false))"

so tend not to include curlies or squares
