In the weakly linked mode (which is probably still too strong for many people), you can still use the rear pedal and it will activate mostly the rear brake. So as long as you are not in way too hot, it should still be, generally, OK. But you are right that there is just no way to really know how much front is being added.
Speaking for myself, I have no idea where the limit is, and I don't care to find out

But that doesn't change my stance that Kawasaki should have offered at least one more mode- OFF. Preferably two more so there would be Strong (probably like our current strong), Medium (probably like our current weak) , Weak (which is weaker than our weak), and Off.
