I've always thought the nitrogen in tires was BS. Perhaps some tiny, barley measurable difference but not nearly worth the cost or inconvenience . Here is a lengthy but scientific video also calling BS on nitrogen. Wondering if this will get as contentious as an oil thread. If it does, I apologize ahead of time
I thought it was mostly a scam from the day I first heard about it, years and years ago. As far as I am concerned it is just a way for companies to try and charge people for "air". Just filtering out water vapor would be more useful, but even that is "meh".
If people spent more time just making sure their tires were PROPERLY INFLATED with WHATEVER gas, it would make much, much more sense. That actually does save gas which saves money and lowers pollution, saves wear on tires and thus tire expense, and improves safety.
