+1 !!!
Hey, I worked for Allen-Bradley, then Rockwell until 2001. I never saw this Gem!
I performed computer support, not product support, for them in seven different roles. I never encountered 'side fumbling' in any application.
PS. The inside of all Allen-Bradley cabinets were painted high-gloss White to facilitate support and reduce need to use flashlights like those Square D guys had to use.
gotta love that
I have been a senior Mechanical project engineer on devices like that, since 2000, and designed a bazillion enclosures, for 3 different companies
cant find some of them, still looking
Most of our stuff was ansi 16 gray, or off white, someone got a brilliant idea ( some dolt in marketing) to begin painting enclosures black, as a style statement.... when they did I complained, as I knew it would turn them into black holes as far as being able to see stuff during assembly and service... sure enough I was right.
