« on: December 15, 2015, 06:37:55 PM »
Is it just me? Owners Manual:When the ktrc is off the light goes on. When the ktrc is on the light goes off! is it just me but shouldn't it be the other way around?? if your using it you would think the light should be on not off. So if you drive around with it off the lights on? just what you want at night a bright orange light on all the time! That was rant 1,rant 2 what a dumb a__ kick stand, catches my pant leg every time, have to look down to use it. Just sayin. :-\   im sure ill get over it!!!

The normal state is for traction control to be on.  The light comes on to warn you when you have it turned off that you no longer have its protection.  Kinda like a brake or temp or oil pressure warning light.
Shoodaben (was Guhl) Mountain Runner ECU flash, Canyon Cages front/rear, Helibars risers, Phil's wedges, Grip Puppies, Sargent World seat-low & heated & pod, Muzzy lowering links, Soupy's stand, Nautilus air horn, Admore lightbar, Ronnie's highway pegs, front running lights, all LED, helmet locks, RAM Xgrip, Sena SMH10, Throttle Tamer, MRA X-Creen, BearingUp Shifter, PR4-GT, Scorpion EXO-T1200,etc

Evidently they've changed the tech that adjusts the headlights.  Quite a few of us got bikes in the early days that had them pointed straight down.

That was sleep mode....same reason the battery was in backwards.

The light also comes on when traction control is activated. So if you hit a slick spot the light will flash.
