  I can relate.....

  on a side note,  I once placed a fake mouse (very realistic example)  on a co-workers mouse pad, with the tail hanging the same direction as the working mouse & cable.   She was not all that amused when she returned to her desk & started to search for something on the pc... I don't know why they automatically assume....I.... had something to do with such nonsense ;D
