Battery Tender Pigtail Routing
« on: June 28, 2011, 11:00:00 AM »
Just out of curiosity, for those using a Battery Tender or similar where do you have the pigtail coming out on the bike to plug it in?  Right now I have mine kind of wedged in between the upper battery cover and frame and tuck it into the seam between the tank and rear side panel, bit I'm sure there has to be a better place.

Run it out the forward part of the access cover where the ground screw is and then down the outside of the fairing. It can be tucked behind the foam when you're not using it.

I ran it out of the back of the battery box to the left side of the bike.  Mine was just long enough to reach so there isn't much cable left to swing about so I don't need to tuck it away.
