Not really, because appearance is fine and sound is great (quiet).

Thanks Steve.  With my trusty cell phone flashlight I could see a 2 1/2" hole all the way to the inlet of the muffler.  No db killer in it, and it isn't bothersomely ( is that even a word) loud either.  Time for a lunch ride.

FWIW, TBR says to never dyno their muffler, if titanium or CF, as the intense heat can destroy those shells.  Probably not that bad, but it is a CYA for them if their product ever does fail... tpvgffffffbbbbb My cat just jumped onto the laptop, guess she wanted to join in on the conversation too.

"tpvgffffffbbbbb" is the response you get from TBR if you submit a warranty claim on their can.

I'm liking that color, but there's a huge black hanging appendage(bazooka) that is spoiling the view..

That is certainly not the most flattering angle, especially with the bags removed  :)

Hey, we all have our bad angles!

I like the sound of the stock muffler too.  With earplugs, didn't even notice the engine running.  With the TBR, always hear the droning of the exhaust tone, and listen for RPM tonal scale changes, and try to mate the tone to accompanying speed.  Sounds weird, but as a life long musician, sounds have always fascinated me.

Currently watching Funny Lady, just for the music and Barbra's singing abilities.  TMI?  Probably so.  tp

According the two Bros, their slip-on adds 4.4 HP, unsure where in the power band, that figure happens. Since it's listed as peak HP, probably at the upper end of the rev range.  I didn't push the bike yesterday, but it didn't feel much different than the 08, possibly not even as strong with OD passing styled pulls, as the 08.

Performance Specs:
            Stock         TBR                             Difference
Peak HP   142.7 hp   147.1 hp                   +4.4 hp
Weight   20 lbs   7 lbs   -13 lbs

I  am suspicious of a product when the manufacturer feels it necessary to "inflate the truth" in order to sell the product. Now I do think the 4.4 hp gain is valid, but producing 147 hp with just the slip on is ludicrous. Yes, their base # was a mess, but a lot of customers won't look at the actual gain, they just look at the final power # and base their purchase on that. This is one of the reasons I don't like dyno charts as a sales tool,  but in this venue it's what consumers want to see in order to decide on which performance farkle they are going to spend their money on. I take it that is your company and site.  Interesting stuff there. I agree about the dyno.  Results can and do change from attempt to attempt.  I've never changed exhaust on any 4 stroke bike that made a real difference, in and of itself.

Well, I did apply a set of Feked (UK) mufflers on an '09 Triumph T100, and though it didn't run much better, it finally sounded like a REAL TRIUMPH.

Now, 2 strokes and expansion chamber design can and does change everything, performance wise, both good and bad.  Used to be a guinea pig for a chamber designer back in the early 70's.  What fun that was.  Oh well, just memories now.

Shoodaben Engineering is my company, not 2 Bros. Not sure what you meant there ^ Steve

I meant Shoodaben was yours, and agreed that dyno tests are not exact.  I knew TBR wasn't yours.  You do have some cool stuff, especially for the C1K models.  tp
