I have always put my bikes away for winter time.  This year I will put the Connie in the trailer to store it and IF
I can't stand the cold anymore, it will be ready to tow South where I can ride.

I towed to VA in June and it rained hard in every state I when though - by trailering I didn't have to stop and
when I got to where I was going I could use it as a garage - so the bike never had to sit outside at night alone.   ;D
I also have wired my trailer for electric and water so I can sleep in it - with my bike(s)  :chugbeer:

Now it's starting to make more sense ;)

6) I have a 2 bike trailer, and I often haul other guys bikes (That "say" they would never trailer) <grin>
I'd gladly take that vacant spot if I lived closer to you ;D. I'm like a penguin (hate heat), and my reason to ride are the twisties, not endless desert straights. So riding 300, 400, or over 500 miles to get to nice twisties in the TX heat is pure torture to me. Without a trailer or tow vehicle, I just don't do that anymore. Rather take the sports car. So you're not a wimp, my friend. You're a smart guy 8). My riding is now reserved mostly for late fall and early spring. Cheers.

So I wonder if I'm like a Camel?  As I hate cold.

It is so foreign to me to here you guys complain about it being too hot and can't ride until it cools down.

Where I live it is so backwards and it never (in my book) gets to hot to ride as we hit 90° twice this year.  And how long does
it stay 90° - maybe a couple of hours?  Many days were in the 60's and 70's with only some days in the 80's.  But never to hot.  Global warming is false here.
Our normal high's at this time of year are in the 50's for highs, with a fair amount of rain this year.  So riding is hit or miss and we know our days of riding
are numbered.

So If anyone want's to make a deal - I will invite you up to MI in the summertime (when it's too hot for you) to ride and put you up for a week or two.
Then you can return the favor in the wintertime when it's too cold for me to ride.   ;D  Sound like a deal?

Maybe we should create a new thread about loaning a bed for trading?  INSTEAD of hijacking this thread which is about a Throne for the Queen.   :offtopic:

Come out to So. Cal. anytime and I will ride with you. There isn't a bad time to ride here. Temps can get into the low 100's during summer but I still ride ... doesn't phase me!
