Specifically, only those who bought the
wedges, with bolts, for use
without riser-blocks, prior to July 2011.
I was not aware that some bikes came stock with stainless steel bolts while others came with stronger DIN 10.9 alloy steel bolts. I want to make sure everyone gets the stronger bolts for the wedges I made.
The bolts I supplied are stainless steel and have head markings "A2-70". These are not as strong as the alloy steel bolts marked "10.9".
If you purchased wedges
and bolts from me, you should replace the bolts with "10.9" alloy steel bolts that Murph sourced. (
http://www.murphskits.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=467) Item number "MU-185".
If you will purchase them from Murph and send me an email with the order number and your name, I will reimburse your cost for the bolts through Paypal or whatever method you used in purchasing them.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but please, to play it safe, replace the bolts I supplied.
