I musta got really freaking lucky

I have a Christmas/Birthday list for the family setup so everybody can put down what they want or remove it. On my list was a Porter Cable PC250MTK multi tool. I just happened to be looking it up yesterday and saw that it was on sale at Lowes for $59, supposedly till 3/24. It also said that it was 50% off. I figured what the hell and went out and got it. I also got the 2 year replacement warranty for $12. Now today I go to their website and it is listed as $149. Nothing about any sale. I even tried another computer just in case it identified my computer somehow and only displayed the new price. Probably stupid I know but I couldn't believe the price difference.

You did get lucky.  I have the Rockwell version of that tool.  Got it several years ago, and I love it. I keep amazing myself at the uses I find for it.  It's the Vegematic for your workshop.

I usually hear of other people getting great deals and it drives me crazy since it never happens to me. I am glad this one time it did work out for me.

Just a heads up. I checked using my home computer and they once again show the price at $59.50. I stopped by the store today and it appears that it is a clearance sale price so if you are looking for one you might want to check it out.

Ok, so check this out, maybe what I mentioned about something identifying my computer has merit. I did a search this morning from home and then did it from work simply using the PC250MT part number. Both brought up the same part from the same Lowes store. At work it showed $149, at home it showed the $59.50 price. Go figure.At work is where I setup  the MyLowes card.. That is the only difference.
