Saul Goodman was Walter White's lawyer in Breaking Bad. They are doing a spinoff for how Saul Goodman came to be, taking place years before Walter became a meth cook.

Yep, and the cast will include Mike, at least in a support role. If this is 3/4 as good as B.B. was, it will be an excellent series. Not sure yet though that an hour of Saul & Friends is going to work; he was outstanding as a support character but they may not be able to fill an entire hour and make it interesting.

Yeah and probably best as that is what Bob Odenkirk (Saul) is best at- smart mouth, really cold observational comedy and delivery.

As to B.B., I always thought at least half of that show was a black comedy anyway. I always thought a lot of people watching were laughing or at least smirking a bit at some of the darkest parts of that show- the tub, the guy and the acid all landing in the hallway followed by Walter chastising Jesse (yet again) about WHY he told him to get a polyethylene tub was sort of funny, at least in a sick, twisted way.

And then the direct humor: 'Good morning Mr. Salamanca... do you have to go poopy? Did you already go poopy?' At the end of that episode of course, Mr. Salamanca blows the 'poopy' out of the entire nursing home....

Yep, hoping for the best, expecting better than average.

I am going over to a new content provider in a week so <hopefully> one of the services (the current one or the new one) will be up and running by that time. Yep, a month ought to be enough to go from the local cable co. to the local fiber optic co........ right?
