Alternative Brake Line Extension
« on: February 25, 2016, 05:08:11 PM »
I need to extend my front brake line, and am looking at the HELIBARS.150-0140 brake line extension.  Although this extension is cost effective, it's not pretty.

Is there anyone out there who offers an extension which doesn't result in a large 90 degree in-line coupling?

Or is the best option just to replace the whole line with a custom length?  If so, who's replacement lines do you recommend?

I welcome all suggestions!

Thanks!

Galfer does a very good job on building both brake and clutch lines.  They built 6 inch longer lines for me when I changed handle bars.  Have you looked at Precession Engineering handle bars?   They are built in Kalispell, Montana and are very adjustable,  plus they make a longer extension if you wish to sit more upright.
