Depends also on handle bar risers. I'm 5-11 now also (yes I have shrunk over the years) but I have Horizon ST bars and I sit way more upright then with stock bars. As a result, the stock 2010 shield all the way up put the wind right in my face. CB Ultra Dome fixes that for me.

Didn't think about risers.  I decided to give it a year before deciding if I needed risers and low and behold I was able to adjust my body to ride the stock bike without risers.  I now have a taller seat and am even more comfortable riding in the sport touring position.  Some days I even wish the grips were lower.  I am close to 30,000 miles on the bike in a little more than 2 years.

Seriously I don't know how tall you guys are, im only 5'-11" and find that I only raise the stock screen about halfway.

Standing height has only a partial relation to torso height.  It would be like trying to describe your helmet size based on shoe size or your belt size based on ring size.

What affects how tall you are in the saddle are:  your torso height (length), your arm length, the seating position (taller/lower, and where you sit on it), and your hand position (dictated by if you have risers or other modifications to the bars/grips).

+1 on the Laminar Lip.  Added it to a V-stream shield, and can go from full breeze to no breeze with a push of the button.  Good luck... Windshilds aren't cheap, and I have bought way too many over the years, looking for riding Nirvana.
