He is saying that the Canyons do not interfere with installation of a cruise control, but by adding Canyons, it makes it more difficult to remove the fairings, hindering access to things inside them.... like a cruise control (and most everything else we need to access for maintenance).  Certainly is true- it is one of the few negatives when adding the Canyon Cages (or any of the fall-over protection bars).

Exactly. My bad for using CC as an abbreviation for Canyon Cages when talking about Cruise Control. Silly me.

Lowes has black plugs as well - got the uber small ones for the tiny holes left in my bar risers (prior owner mounted a garmin - I don't) and the ones for the frame as well.......think I spent 6 bucks

these are actually the Heyco plugs I noted in my prior posting...
We bought them in bulk, and they were about $0.10 each...
if you buy them from McMaster, you gotta pay more..but still a dealeo..if someone wanted to do a quantity buy and re-sell them.. and ship them.. and collect $$...
