new muffler
« on: August 10, 2014, 03:22:54 PM »
Any input on Delkevic mufflers from anyone. Need a new left side but at 600 bucks a piece I need a less expensive solution. 400 for a complete pair sounds good to me.
Any other suggestions would be welcome as well. Already checked ebay and that stuff looks pretty rough.  Thanks

Scroll down a bit to the thread on Harley mufflers.
At the price they deserve consideration.
I certainly would give them a shot.

That Harley mod while ingenious just does not do it for me. Looking for more of a plug and play upgrade. Not much time for fabbing and such.
Besides I would have to put up with too much abuse from the harley riders at the steel mill. Lol

enough good reviews on youtube and other mc forums to most likely go ahead and place an order on these.

Why would you not place an ad in the "Wanted" section for an OEM?  I'm sure they're out there for a pretty good low price.  But I must admit, those are some nice replacement mufflers.

well after seeing what was available online in the used category i figured i deserved shiny over abused lol. had these not been available at this price i would have been looking for something in the used market or trying to have mine fixed, this would require a welded patch and attempting to have the hangar properly realigned. too much work involved i feel. the Delkevic pipes are affordable so i went ahead and made the buy. i will post some pics later.

Had Delkevic on my Bandit and loved it! All Stainless, no aluminum, and sound was awesome.
