Slim Saddle Bags
« on: June 05, 2014, 05:42:41 AM »
I realize this topic was brought up a few years ago, I was wondering if anyone ever located another company besides Corbin to modify the current saddle bag to a slimmer version? Or if a company exists that makes a smaller replacement bag/cover? I read in a previous thread a company in the UK may offer one?

I gather the private sector may not have much of a need for a slimmer bag but we certainly do in law enforcement. Our bags are just too wide for what we do. I've called Corbin but the process is lengthy and expensive so my department is looking for a better option.

Thanks!

I've got feelers out to Ryan at MCE on this.  Let me check on the status of that.  I'll get back to you.

From what Ryan told me, most of the police bike vendors are going to Corbin for the narrow cases..  Other than that, zilch.

However, Ryan clarified that Hunting Beach Honda (ugh) is making police bikes and that they get their modified cases from Corbin.  You may be able to make some sort of arrangement with them (Hunting Beach) to get your cases modified or make the deal yourselves with Corbin directly.  It might be cheaper to deal with Corbin directly, though.
