I think the Long Rifle is rated at around 1,200 amps per second. :-)

There was an old story going around about two guys who went turtle hunting (fishing? well, whatever it is you do to remove turtles from their environment) and opened up a fuse on the truck. Fixed it with a .22 LR round and all was well.... until it went off and landed in the driver's nether regions..... which caused him to drive off the road and into the [pond, stream, whatever it was] and the turtles got out of the truck, which in turn caused his wife to beat him mercilessly. Mildly amusing. :-)

To be inclusive don't forget to mention the standard replacement for the older style glass type fuses. A .22 lr fits nicely.

She beat him because she missed the turtle soup, the truck, or his nether regions?  Probably only the first two, I imagine his turtle hunting buddy (fishing buddy?) rose up to fill the void, so to speak.

His wife went nuts because he lost all the turtles they had caught, and his buddy was too busy laughing to help him in any way.

Furlongs per fortnight. Ergs per Hertz.  And my favorite measuring 'mixed metaphor': expansion rates of units of XX mm of expansion per mm per degree Fahrenheit. I've given answers to questions in those very units only to be told that that is wrong. It is not wrong, it is just odd and really throws people off.    There are some strange and odd ways to measure things in this world: fuel injectors are usually measured in lbs. of fuel delivered per HOUR! Again, it is not wrong, it is just really odd; I would think cc's per second or fluid ounces per minute would be a more reasonable set of units but nope, typically it is lbs. of fuel delivered.... per hour. Go figure.
