Even if you live here half the year you still want to venture elsewhere on the C14, it hates staying within state lines and at the northern border of FL its chilly in the winter....and the temp "goes south" from there  ;D

Especially this winter.   >:(  The threat of black ice has been high this winter.  Couple that with the little Solstice I picked up and I'm getting lazy.

I have been house shopping in the Port St Lucie area. I would still come back to work in the Boston area for 20-25 weeks per year (summer).

I piedi sono l'organo più lontano dal cuore, scaldate loro e con un abbigliamento tecnico sul GTR 1400 non c'è inverno che tenga, tutto il resto è molto relativo.

The feet are the body farthest from the heart, and warmed them with a technical clothing on GTR 1400 that takes no winter, everything else is very relative.

Yep, heated gear is 'like sex, only good'.  :-)

Your question is the one people always ask- why did I wait so long? And what very few people realize, at least before they have heated gear, is that it does not make riding in the cold tolerable, it makes it downright comfy!

That's so true.
Why did I wait so long? That was my first thought on the first ride I took with the heated gear.

I have the Gerbing jacket liner and pants. I only need the pants for sub 22ish degree weather.

If you're going to buy heated gear make sure to buy it tight to your body, it works better. Don't get it loose, trust me on this...

New heated gear for me this winter.  Not MC specific, but http://www.thermacell.com/heated-insoles-foot-warmers have been awesome all winter long.  I could see putting them in my boots for early & late season riding here in Minnesota.

As for previously mentioned Aerostich gear- I prefer a 2 piece suit.  I have a Darrien coat with AD1 pants.  Very versatile, and I have even worn them for blowing snow and riding ATV.
