Corbin seats, what are they worth?
« on: March 29, 2014, 09:15:37 AM »
Thinking of making a bike change, but want to get the most out of my Connie. With that in mind, what would a set of Corbin seats really be worth on the open market (like on the forum?). Front is heated but rear in not. Also have a Corbin passenger backrest that I bought second hand, so it's got Ostrich pattern on the face.

That's sad. It's such a great seat.

I paid $500 for mine two years ago. Same seat front heated and not the rear. Later I picked up the backrest for $100 off of Craigslist.

I paid $375 on here for a low mileage non-heated Corbin seat just last week.  I'd think with the heated front seat (assuming it is in excellent condition) you'd be closer to 5 than 4.  Or maybe I just overpaid ;D

Saw a website. Corbin in really good condition go for $355 on ebay a couple of weeks ago.

Was that heated? Adding heat to the front seat is a $152 upgrade on the Corbin website. Not to mention the passenger backrest.

I guess I'll just have play it by ear IF I decide to make a change.

I paid $550 for mine locally modular style non heated with backrest. Probably a bit high but you should get around $500 for yours if it is clean. I think the backrest having a different pattern is a turn off for me but others may not care.
