The material is Pigeon Gray Vinyl. its not a heat-seat. You can look this color up on Corbin.com. I had it constructed so that is rain proof. I used this seat for 2 weeks. It is in excellent (just like new condition).
The "why am I selling it" question: Its a money thing. I need to replace a big ticket appliance in the house and the seat is low on the totem pole.
The seat works very well. It prompts the scheme of Corbin design. A firm memory foam that shapes to your butt and eliminates hot spots. In the two weeks I had it, I must have sat on it for 50 miles with the rain and all...so it is still virgin sitting.
