I love these Dodges. I'm guessing 18 mpg at the best. The 8 speed will help on the highway. I have the Durango HEMI and get about 17mpg.

Just a bit over 16 average so far.  Almost all commuting and in town driving.  Also the average temperature has been -0F, so I am using the remote start a lot!  I'm betting more than 18 in warmer weather and longer trips.  Hope to break into the 20's...

20s would be great. I hope you didn't bank on it. These trucks won't let you smile if you get 20mpg. I think 18mpg will be a high.

I'll save the smiles for the C14.  The truck is just for when I don't ride.

Great looking truck. I probably would have opted for Ford or Chevy, last time I had a Chrysler product I really took it in the shorts when it came time for trade-in (no value) so now I avoid Chrysler...too bad because I really like the new Grand Cherokee. I hope you have better resale value than my Plymouth did.

That red 2006 kept it's valu three years later because the new diesels cost almost $20,000 more now It's going up for sale soon.
That white 09 get's 18 mpg at 75mph  highway,  NO polution crap,  the 09 has all intake stuff gone and 5" exhaust  and it has a $ 1,700 programer on the dash , I can add 175 HP just touch the button , black smoke and spinning tires , you have to have a programer if you remove the polution stuff. I never turn it up all the way , just use the tow mode.
That new small diesel gets real world 26-28 mpg .

Reminds me of a time a few yrs back when one of my co-workers was stopped at the light in his F-250 Powerstroke w/ some mods & 5" tailpipe. In the next lane, a youngster, driving one of those lowered asian pos car's w/ the 20" rims, low-profile tires, fart can exhaust & the stereo thumpin' that hippity-hop garbage pulled alongside in the next lane, w/ his open, driver's side window next to the exhaust pipe of my buddy's truck. Well, my buddy also hates that style of tunes & throttles 'er up, loading the car full of diesel smoke, enough so, that the kid can't even roll-up his window.  Funniest damn thing I ever saw, almost spit my pop thru my nose I was laughing so hard....
I was about 5 cars behind the kid & he set thru the next light change before his car aired out enough to allow him to start moving again....

I gave a similar treatment to a jerk in a white convertible (top down) on a congested Illinois highway in a construction zone.  He was weaving in and out jumping from lane to lane.  Almost hit a few vehicles from what I saw.  I was driving my brother's Chevy & laid hard on the throttle when he was next to the pipe.  Eventually the guy did pass me & I almost felt bad with all the black soot in his car... almost. 

Ok.  Finally got the truck washed and a minute to take a picture while running the dog to the vet.... Long story there!
