Her Mom is a little more camera shy and won't need as much sunscreen!

I was expecting to see a big airplane on approach to landing but there was no airplane in the pic.

Would be nice to get a picture from the other side, so I can see the other 2 engines.  Just saying......

Showing my age.  When I saw Globemaster in the subject line, the immediate picture that popped into place was one of these..

Travis AFB, Douglas C-124, Old Shaky

sigh..

The house we lived in when I was a child was close to an Air Force MAC base, I loved to watch the C-124's lumber over our house, before they got replaced by the C-141 Starlifter.  Giant, slow, and loud.  The 124 was the Globemaster II, C-17 is the III.  The original was the C-74.

I've clicked that photo twice and still don't see an airplane. 8)

I've been on a medivac flight on a C-141 from Germany to Andrews.  Only time I ever got sick on an aircraft.  Depending on the altitude it would develop condensation inside as well.

C-74 was an interesting aircraft.  Never really caught on, though.
