That's not too far off.

My wife and I downsized to a 600 square foot house with attached 600 square foot garage, and a 1668 square foot pole barn with 14 foot by 100 foot wings on the barn.

We lived that way for 3 years and then added another 800 square feet onto the house to convert it from the planned MIL apartment into a home.

Those are some pretty nice house plans.   There is a man in Kokomo who has a 40 X 80 pole barn with an old 12 X 38' house trailer inside. The rest of the space is used for hobbies/recreation.   He has lived there for years, it seems to work fine for him.  I do not think my wife would go along with the plan.

1) Square footage? Bedroom in the floor plan could be the size of a pup tent, or a Garage Mahal. Wot is it?
2) Need larger 'car' doors. Wide enough for a P-51 and Lancair (and TBM-850, once I get turbine and pressurized endorsements) Note, all are single engine land airplanes... I can fly ALL of them legally (no joke). Scary, taint it?
3) Where's the mechanical room? Don't wanna hear that 20HP compressor running.
