Should red warning light come on with low fuel warning?
« on: December 15, 2013, 09:03:05 AM »
Should red warning light come on with low fuel warning? I was riding home through the crappiest weather ever 2 Fridays ago. I saw the low fuel light flashing in the LCD display, but no red warning light came on.
The heated grips were only working when they wanted to. I kept turning the knob up and down and praying the heat would come back.

The low fuel warning will hijack the entire display till you clear it by pressing and holding the top dash button while you press and release the bottom button, then release the top button. Now the red warning LED will come on.

Okay. I couldn't remember. Thanks.
I have had quite a few problems with my 2011. I am trying to keep track of it all. I am in the process of a Lemon Law on that bike. My 2010 is a way better bike all together.

I loved my 2008. I put 44,000 miles on it in 18 months before totaling it.
My 2010 has 45,000 on it now.
The 2011 is at 13,000+.
