Those are the plain PR4's.  I can only think heavier load capacity on the GT?

Load capacities stay the same.  It's just a stiffer sidewall.

I would imagine that the stiffer sidewall would be applicable to a heavier bike like the C14, no?
Questions!

Will these replace the PR3?
Will they finally discontinue the PR2?
This is all "tyre" stuff, will it be "tire" also (US)?
Any data on how these compare to PR2 and PR3?

Damn, at this rate, by the time I get rid of my stock stones, PR5 will be out!

I have the opposite dilema.  I'm in need of new shoes, currently, but I might want to wait for the PR4s...  Either to get a better tire (if they are) or in hope that the PR3s get reduced in price a bit.  ;D

But, alas, I don't think I'll be able to wait.  Winter is wet time, and wet time is when tires matter the most.  I probably shouldn't risk it on my current tread.  Not to mention that both of my TPMS are reporting low batteries -- so perhaps I can negotiate free mounting of my new tires since they have to remove the old ones to replace the TPMS batts, anyway.

Can someone post up clearance deals on PR3's when they start happening?  I need to stack 'em up in my garage  ;)
